It really is difficult when you're the one with cancer and people want you to reassure them there's a reason. I had a family member actually tell me that I was diagnosed with cancer because of the fact that I had done drugs in the past. I quit communicating with her because I felt like I had enough against me battling cancer. This talk was very real.
