Today I finished this book. It's not easy for me to read , I can't understand some sentences correctly, and need to check the Chinese content at the last part of the book. But it's a good book. I like it very much. before reading this book , we should know some background of the author, some about where he lived and her religion.

The Sisters; Araby; Eveline; The Boarding House; A Little Cloud; Clay; A Painful Case; A Mother; The Dead;

The Sisters:

Not the sisters, its their brother the priest. it's a pity. he was abandoned by God.

Araby:

A boy's vanity.

Eveline:

she wanted free, she wanted a real lift for herself. But family was a heavy burden for her. She couldn't escape. What can she do, desperate, maybe next life.

The Boarding House:

A smart woman and her daughter. This is human nature. 拿捏. We couldn't escape from the social morality. Maybe be a normal man is a better choice.

A Little Cloud:

You have a happy life, but someone is better than you. So you choose to be happy or be sad. Of course, you should appreciate what you own. Other's success path is not fit with you. Take care of your family and your work.

Clay:

I'm not sure about the lady in this article. she had good heart why she couldn't have a better life. This is a world all the people see the faces. This or that is a face based world. 'I dreamt that I dwelt'. 我梦到我正在大理石建的豪宅里，拥有财富和佣人，但是我更在意的是你的爱，她唱的如此动听和动情，现实确实孤独一人在洗衣房工作和生活，只是在Halloween 和亲友相聚。

A Mother:

A good mother but please give some space for growth. Mother can't protect their kids forever. Maybe the mother could seek opinions from her daughter or her husband or other.

The Dead:
