Marion, for three years lookin' for you was my whole life.

I gave up everything that meant anything to me.

I didn't know what made you go.

I didn't know why you disappeared.

You could've been forced to or you could even be dead.

All I could do is look for you.

I kept that up as long as I could.

But I couldn't keep it up forever.

And after a while, even that didn't make any sense.
