Dujiangyan irrigation project is an irrigation infrastructure built by Governor LiBing of the Qin State in 256 B.C., during China's Warring States Period(476 B.C. - 221 B.C.). It is located the Min River in Sichuan province, 45 kilometers north of Chengdu.
都江堰水利工程是中国战国时期（公元前476年-公元前221年）秦国总督李冰于公元前256年修建的水利基础设施。它位于四川省岷江流域，成都以北45公里。
The Dujingyan irrigation project is the only existing ancient hydro-power project and has produced comprehensive benefits in flood control, irrigation, water transport and general water consumption. It is still in use today, irrigating over 5300 square kilometers of the region's land.
都江堰水利枢纽工程是现存唯一的古水电工程，在防洪、灌溉、输水和一般用水方面产生了综合效益。它至今仍在使用，灌溉了该地区5300多平方公里的土地。
There is a saying which goes "There would be no Land of Abundance without Dujiangyan". The irrigation system is an amazing feat of engineering and construction, a wonder of the world, and is a UNESCO world heritage site.

Nowadays visitors come to the site to appreciate the ingenious work of Yuzui (Fish - Mouth Levee), Feishayan (Sand -Flying Weir) and Baopingkou (Bottle-neck Channel), as well as Two Kings Temple, Dragon-Taming Temple, Anlan Bridge, and other sights.
